How Omega grow to the nowadays

Omega, the extravagant watch producer, is famous for its elegant, innovative and graceful style in the world. It is pursued by many prestigious stars, politics, and other renowns in the world, such as Cindy Crawford, Michael Schumacher and the Chinese film star Zhang Ziyi.      Since its founding in Switzerland in 1848 by Louis Brandt, Omega has never stopped looking for novelty and improvement.
The company did not begin in a fabulous scale. It was began by buying local hand-operated winding watches by Louis, the founding father. It is with the innovative spirit that the company rose to the industry standard after years.

In 1903, there are only 800 employees in the company and only 240,000 watches were produced every year. However, the company expanded continuously. The company once rose to number one watch producer in Switzerland. In the 1960s, the company launched the Omega Speedmaster Professional Chronography and put into aviation use. It was employed by NASA and became the first watch appearing in the moon. But the tide reversed in 1975 when the economic recession stroke. The company struggled onward.

In the 90s, the company was reborn with its audacious originality. In 1995, the Omega Seamaster Quartz Professional was worn by Pierce Brosnan, a well-known film actor. Four years later, in 1999, it mass produced a watch with co-axial escapement and took in a great deal of popularity. Ever since then, Omega is so popular among the world that it was chosen to be the Olympics watches.

Omega never halts improving. Nowadays, it is offering a variety of models. Some of them could be fashionable for fashionistas, while some are professional designed for the professional.I believe the brand will shine eternally.
